WHO YOU WILL HELP
Since the earliest known female police officer--Marie Owens--was appointed in Chicago in 1890, women have grown to 12% of the Nation's police force. Our Female Officers have made great strides since then in gaining acceptance in a traditionally male dominated profession, and we don't want to see them assaulted, treated unfairly in their precincts, or wrongly limited in how high they can climb in their careers.
We support the lawmakers who will fight for our female officers by demanding stricter laws for those who intentionally target and assault them as well as understand that our female officers need certain benefits that are specific to their gender.
With your contribution, we will sponsor strong leaders who will push back against those who wish to hamstring our women officers by defunding departments and slashing benefits.

The United Women's Health Alliance PAC directly supports the passage of legislation through our contributions to strong leaders who understand the problems women face in our country. That's why we are supporting the lawmakers sponsoring the Back the Blue Act. The BTBA will bolster protection for our officers by increasing the penalties for those who kill or assault our officers.
Just as importantly, we contribute to leaders who express convictions in the need to keep funding our police departments, and that our female officers need benefits that are tailored specifically for them.
